About The Bull Hotel's 3 Peaks Challenge for Julia's House

11,178 feet. 3 peaks. 24 hours. That is what a team from The Bull Hotel in Bridport are hoping to achieve in order to raise funds for Julia's House Hospice in Dorset.

The Three Peaks Challenge is renowned for being one of the toughest challenges in the UK. On 11 May 2009 the team will attempt to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours. This is a difficult challenge, not only will the team be climbing and descending 11,178 feet in 24 hours, they will be driving for ten hours and night walking over steep, rough ground.

Julia's House is a charity that cares for life-limited and life-threatened children throughout Dorset and provides much needed support for their families. The majority of these children are not expected to live into adulthood, which clearly places huge strains upon the family as a whole. Consequently, those families are provided with respite in their own homes and at Julia's House.

Julia's House rely heavily on the support of the community and so by sponsoring The Bull Hotel Three Peaks Challenge you are directly helping Julia's House care for many life-limited and life-threatened children throughout Dorset.

All monies raised will be going directly to Julia's House as all costs of this challenge are being borne by the participants and The Bull Hotel.
